19.30h in Oct.1, 2013 Petrolimex Aviation officially supplied Jet A-1 for the flight EY 0440 (Airbus A330-200) of Etihad Airlines at Tan Son Nhat airport. This is the first fuel supply in the long term contract signed between PA and Etihad Airlines from now until mid-2015.

Etihad Airways- the national carrier of UAE which was founded in 2003 is considered the quickest developing airline in the commercial aviation history. At present time, Etihad has 66 planes flying more than 1,000 flights/week on international routes , carrying passengers and cargoes to almost all countries of the Mid-East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. According to assessment of Skytrax , a tourist consulting firm specializing in evaluating airlines, Etihad is ranked 7th in more than 200 airlines of the world in 2013. Etihad Airways is the third Mid-East airlines (after Emirates and Qatar) flying directly to Vietnam at a rate of one flight per day by Airbus A330-200 . The new route to Ho Chi Minh City is the 84th route by Etihad.
