Pioneering in the business of petroleum products with low CO2 emissions and environmentally friendly

the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP29
in Baku (Azecbaijan)

The highlight of COP29 was the “unlocking” of a global carbon market under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
In particular, the Conference adopted for the first time the Declaration on Green Digital Action at COP29, which was adopted with the participation of all interested parties for a sustainable, green world.

Researching and
Transition

Always pioneering in the business of petroleum products with low CO2 emissions and environmentally friendly such as: E5 bio-gasoline, gasoline with high emission standards (EURO IV, EURO V) and products with low sulfur ratio.
Transiting the current Petrolimex petroleum stations system into smart, modern, environmentally friendly petroleum stations with full integration of accompanying utilities such as: Electric vehicle charging station, Car wash, maintenance, repair using Japanese technology; Cafe, restaurant, rest stop on the highway.
Cooperate with strategic partner ENEOS to research and develop new clean energy projects such as LNG, Hydrogen, etc.
Green Energy Transition Projects under Research and Implementation

01
Establishment of a Steering Committee and an Action Plan Implementation Committee towards the Petrolimex's carbon neutral and net-zero goals.

02
Implementation of a greenhouse gas inventory for 2023 across the Group and granted ISO Certification from BSI International Certification Organization for the 2023 greenhouse gas inventory report. Implementation of 2024 greenhouse gas inventory across the Group. It is expected that the Group will conduct annual greenhouse gas inventory.

03
Participation in a carbon credit generation pilot project from providing water filters to households in remote areas.

04
Cooperation with domestic and international organizations to support energy transition planning.

05
Cooperation with Vinfast to install and operate 270 electric vehicle charging stations at the Petrolimex gas station system; expecting to deploy phase 2 with V-GREEN and other partners from 2025.
