Social Activities

With the traditional virtue of the Vietnamese: “Drinking water, one should think of its source” , Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation always upholds that social activities are important. They are the responsibility and the pride of officers and workers of the whole Corporation. The Corporation regularly gives assistance to charity activities like contributing to the fund of hunger elimination and poverty reduction, the fund for protection of Vietnamese children, the fund for gratitude to good deeds in the past; building houses for the needy, taking care of 215 Vietnamese heroic mothers, helping people in disaster-stricken areas, and reinforcing shabby schools... In the past 5 years, the Corporation drew 17 billion dongs from its social welfare fund and the voluntary contribution from its staff for these activities.
