On June 26, 2024, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) Le Van Thanh, and leaders and staff of the ministry’s Department of Industrial Relations and Wage paid a working visit to the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group).

Board of Directors member – Petrolimex General Director, Dao Nam Hai, chaired the reception and working session with the MoLISA delegation. Deputy General Director of Petrolimex Nguyen Ngoc Tu, Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union Nguyen Thanh Son, and leaders and officials from the Human Resources and Remuneration Department, and the Personnel Department were also present.

During the working session, Board of Directors member - General Director of Petrolimex Dao Nam Hai presented a report on Petrolimex’s implementation of labour management and salary policies over the past years. He discussed challenges, obstacles, emerging issues, and recommendations for improving salary mechanisms for enterprises to improve salary, income for workers and attract highly qualified labour forces.

In his closing remarks, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invaids and Social Affairs Le Van Thanh commended Petrolimex’s significant role in efficient business performance and ensuring national energy security. He acknowledged the Group’s effective implementation of labour and wage regulations over the past years.

The MoLISA delegation shared their insights on challenges, obstacles, and emerging issues in labour and salary works at the Petrolimex. They appreciated the suggestions and proposals from the Group, which will be valuable for researching, considering, building, and adjusting State policies on labour and salaries to better suit enterprises like Petrolimex.
