Hanoi 12 January 2013, Vietnam National Petroleum Group held the year end review for the year 2012 and mapped out plans for 2013.

The meeting was presided over by Director General Tran Van Thinh and the participation of key positions of the Group‘s holding company and member companies at home and abroad.

Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry Nguyen Cam Tu, and Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Board of Management Bui Ngoc Bao attended and instructed the meeting.

The meeting also heard speeches by representatives of companies in different zones and sectors.

The meeting was unanimous in building and carrying out the 2013 plan in which efficiency is the core , aiming at a sustainable development of the group and increasing the value of equity of shareholders.

Besides, delegates shared high consensus in the group’s orientation with regards to principles, expansion and development of markets, selective investment , continued practice of thrift… and 8 groups of focal solutions for the implementation of the 2013 plan. This serves as an important basis for the building of plans for the submission and approval of Petrolimex share holders meeting.

In the year 2013, Petrolimex will assign plans for the group of petroleum companies and the group representing Petrolimex equity in joint stock, joint venture and associated companies. The plans will be assigned in a renovated way with concentration in two main groups of scheduled figures of mandatory and instructional nature.

Commenting on the year 2012, Petrolimex came to unanimous conclusion that: Although the volume of oil and business turnover in domestic market did not achieve target plans due to economic difficulties in general in Vietnam and the aim of price stabilization to curb inflation, stabilize macro economy and social security as per Government Resolution 11/NQ-CP of 24 Feb. 2011, basically the Group maintained the stability and developed in the right direction . The Government, ministries and branches take more cognizance of the efforts of Petrolimex collective staff , the difficulties and hindrances that should be removed so that Petrolimex develops in expectation of the Party, the Government and consumers, becoming a strong economic group, and successful in international
