PRESENCE OF THE NEW IDENTIFICATION OF THE PETROLIMEX BRAND NAME

Hanoi January 12th, 2012. Today at Horizon Hotel Hanoi, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) held the ceremony to present the identification of the Petrolimex brand name.

Attending the ceremony was H.E Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Bui Ngoc Bao, Chairman of BOM of Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Mr. Tran Van Thinh, Director General Of Vietnam National Petroleum Group and numerous representatives and authorities of press media, agencies and journalists.

With determination to build Petrolimex into a strong and dynamic economic group, Vietnam National Petroleum Group decided to establish a new identification of Petrolimex in the whole system, from the Holding Company Vietnam National Petroleum Group to member units in and out of Vietnam.

Identification of new Petrolimex is the development of inherited precious core value and the fine features of the past, and a vision for “a further progress”. Besides the system of new identification, Petrolimex will concentrate on building the enterprise culture, operate the enterprise resource program(ERP), check all procedures and norms,improve the management system, resolutely curb and eliminate actions that impair the prestige and image of Petrolimex.

The ceremony to present the identification of brand and logos is the commitment of quality of goods and services supplied by Petrolimex to all users, partners in and out of the country

The brand name of Petrolimex and the logos are owned by Petrolimex, given Certificates of Registration in Vietnam, in the region and the world. The use and exploitation of the brand name and logos are to follow the procedures stipulated by Vietnam National Petroleum Group.

On the same day, leaders of Vietnam National Petroleum Group sent official circulars to related Ministries, Departments, authorities and press media as well as an open letter to the clientele about the new system of brand and logos officially approved by Petrolimex. Besides the request to relevant authorities for the protection of brand name and logos, Vietnam National Petroleum Group will actively and initiatively protects its brand name and logos according to new and old stipulations.
